Since I was a child I always loved art. I would go to the aquarium with my family and we would sit and draw the fish that swam by. I have always pursued creative media in some manner and received a degree in art at the end of 2014. I took to how digital creation affects not only fine art, but alters the way in which we tell stories, interact with each other, and conduct ourselves in this world. In order to better understand this and further my own ability to work with technology I am currently pursuing a second degree in Computer Science and expect to graduate at the end of 2018. I hope to use this to become involved in development roles in digital visualization, simulation and participate in how humans and computers interact with each other and their environment.
I have most recently worked professionally as a high school art teacher where I taught beginner and advanced art courses. This incorporated heavy involvement in bringing technology into the school's curriculum, which manifested itself in digital painting, vector drawing, 3D modeling and an introduction to 3D printing. In addition I design and run workshops to introduce the basics of 3D printing as well as 3D mesh manipulation.
